My Born day- December 16, 2010

The Lord has been so good to me. He has spared my life one more time and I am so grateful. He has extended favor and grace on me to which I am undeserving. As I reflected I am giving thanks for His guidance, protection, love , and forgiveness. Currently I am celebrating in RUI- Montego Bay Jamaica. Two comments that I got from folks here are" oh my, your by yourself for your birthday" and "why did they leave you alone?" These are statements that could throw one in a pity party but I know I am not alone. I am surrounded by a wonderful family and group of friends. Just take a look at my facebook wall. I am going to be posting some quotations that I have discovered over the years that have given me perspective. I am going to be also posting some pictures I took on  the beach this morning and try to upload a video. So enjoy! Happy  birthday to me!!

Early morning walk on the beach, complete body exfoliation with Swedish massage, meet up with one of my old time friend and dinner at the Italian restaurant. The workers got me  a whole cake and song happy birthday

Life cannot be counted in candles or measured in the number of
years;
It is counted in small joys, good times and laughter as well as heartaches and tears.

Life cannot be counted in candles but in things done with effort and pride, with dreams followed boldly and hopes kept alive;
In times when we've failed but tried.

Life cannot be counted in candles or measured in years that have flown,
It is counted in kindness, close friends, and loved ones and the sweet blessings we've known.

"Life to the fullest is not a combination of good health, good looks, satisfactory education, and a nice income.
And although strong, loving relationships are certainly part of it, there is considerably more than these things.
Life to the fullest is the kind of life that has meaning. It is a life that issues inner peace. It's happiness does not depend primarily on external, material circumstances. It is a life that is connected to the Source of life and will, therefore, be eternal". - Ellen White
